This book was good! It was a little weird, and the plot didn't make much sense, but it doesn't matter because the author creates an alterniative reality really well and stuff!!!
Regarding parents: p.11: "But there's no way to erase the DNA they passed down to me. If I wanted to drive that away, I'd have to get rid of me." On Cats p. 50: "There're all sorts of cats -- just like there're all sorts of people." Also, it's cool to use the contraction: there're in a sentence! On Life, P. 287: "Listen, every object's in flux. The Earth, time, concepts, love life, faith, justice, evil -- they're all fluid and in transition. They don't stay in one form or in one place forever. The whole universe is like some big FedEx box." P 326: "Life's crappy, no matter how you cut it." On Death, p. 294: "To be honest about it, I'm not trying to die. I'm just waiting for death to come. Like sitting on a bench at the station, waiting for the train." on Love P 297: You're not the person who discovered that feeling, so don't go trying to patent it, okay?"
